Sustainable farming
Questions about our vision of sustainable farming
How can I make my dairy farm more sustainable?
Every dairy farm has the potential to produce more sustainably, regardless of the circumstances and situation. The reuse of raw materials such as sand, among other things, ensures that your dairy farm produces more sustainably. Because the sand is reused, you need to order sand less often, which means less CO2 emissions are released during transport. Moreover, with the reuse of sand, dairy farms can use a biogas installation with which you can produce green energy and contribute to a circular economy.
How can I reduce my ecological footprint?
The life cycle assessment (LCA) is an analysis to determine the total environmental impact of a particular product or company. It is becoming increasingly important for a dairy farm to take a close look at the company's CO2 emissions. By investing in the right installations on the farm, CO2 emissions can be reduced without huge costs.
In an LCA report, the entire life cycle is included in the calculation. We can make this LCA calculation for your company. From the cultivation of food, fertilizer or sand supply, production to waste processing. For example, by reusing raw materials, such as sand, less supply is required. This means less transport. The Flush system reuses water for rinsing the barn slats. The BeddingMaster turns manure into a clean and hygienic bedding material. Each system has its own purpose and makes the total process more efficient and also saves CO2. With an investment in one of our systems, we jointly reduce the ecological footprint.
